Roxy — Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (the "Bot Terms") govern your use of Roxy (the "Bot"), a Discord application operated by Silent Studio, a French Société par Actions Simplifiée (SAS) registered under SIREN 999 511 785, with its registered office at 200 rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France ("we", "us", "our").

Roxy is a custom-branded instance of the MEE6 platform (https://mee6.xyz). The underlying software and infrastructure are provided by MEE6; Silent Studio is responsible for the Bot's configuration and for the community rules it applies.

By interacting with the Bot, or by remaining a member of a Discord server on which the Bot is present, you agree to these Bot Terms. If you do not agree, you must not interact with the Bot.

These Bot Terms complement, and do not replace, the Terms of Service applicable to our website and game servers.

2. What the Bot Does

Depending on the configuration chosen by the server administrators, the Bot may:

  • award experience points based on activity and assign roles when a level is reached;
  • display leaderboards of member activity;
  • send welcome, farewell, and announcement messages;
  • apply moderation actions (warnings, timeouts, message removal) according to the rules configured by the server staff;
  • respond to commands, including custom commands defined by the server staff;
  • provide reaction roles, tickets, reminders, polls, and similar community features.

The exact set of enabled features may change at any time at the discretion of the server administrators.

3. Eligibility

You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service and meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country (13 years old in most jurisdictions) in order to use Discord and therefore the Bot.

If you are under 18, or under the legal age of majority in your country, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Acceptable Use

When interacting with the Bot, you agree NOT to:

a) attempt to gain experience points, levels, roles, or rewards by artificial means, including message spam, self-bots, automation, or alternate accounts; b) attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Bot or its underlying infrastructure; c) use the Bot to harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against other users; d) use the Bot to transmit illegal, hateful, violent, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate content; e) impersonate the Bot, Silent Studio, its staff, or any other person or entity; f) use the Bot to collect data about other users without their consent.

5. Availability and Changes

The Bot is provided free of charge and as is, without any guarantee of availability, continuity, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Because the Bot depends on third-party services (Discord and MEE6), it may become partly or entirely unavailable for reasons outside our control. Experience points, levels, leaderboards, and roles may be reset, recalculated, or lost following a technical incident, a configuration change, or a change made by a third-party provider. No compensation of any kind is owed in such an event.

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove any feature of the Bot at any time and without prior notice.

6. Suspension

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, exclude any user from the Bot's features, remove awarded roles or levels, or report an account to Discord in the event of a breach of these Bot Terms, of the rules of the Discord server concerned, or of the Discord Terms of Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The name "Roxy", the Bot's avatar, its visual identity, and any original content produced by Silent Studio are the property of Silent Studio or are used with permission. The MEE6 name and platform remain the property of their respective owners.

Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft. Silent Studio is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

8. Third-Party Services

The Bot operates on Discord and relies on the MEE6 platform. Your use of the Bot is therefore also subject to:

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by French law, Silent Studio shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use or unavailability of the Bot, including loss of levels, roles, ranking, or reputation within a community.

Nothing in these Bot Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Governing Law

These Bot Terms are governed by French law. In the absence of an amicable resolution, any dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to the mandatory rules of jurisdiction applicable to consumers.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Bot Terms at any time. The version published on this page is the version in force. Material changes will be announced on the Discord server concerned.
