Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mineshoku Tensei website (the "Site") and the associated Minecraft game server play.mineshoku.com (the "Server"), together referred to as the "Services". The Services are operated by Silent Studio, a French Société par Actions Simplifiée (SAS) registered under SIREN 999 511 785, with its registered office at 200 rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Definitions

  • "User" / "you": any person accessing or using the Services.
  • "Account": the account created on the Site via Microsoft authentication, linked to a Minecraft account.
  • "Content": any text, suggestion, message, image, or other material submitted, posted, or transmitted by a User through the Services.

3. Eligibility

The Services are intended for users aged 13 and over, in accordance with Minecraft's own terms of use. If you are under 18 (or under the legal age of majority in your country), you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Services. We do not currently verify users' ages and rely on the declaration made when using the Services.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Services (such as posting suggestions or accessing personal statistics), you must create an Account by authenticating through your Microsoft / Minecraft account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and current information;
  • keep your authentication credentials confidential;
  • be responsible for all activities carried out under your Account;
  • notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Account that does not comply with these Terms.

5. Beta Status

The Services may be made available, in whole or in part, in beta or test versions (notably during the open beta scheduled for June 2026). You acknowledge that the Services may contain bugs, errors, or instability during these phases, and that features, data, progress, and content may be modified or reset at any time, without prior notice and without any right to compensation.

6. Rules of Conduct

When using the Services, you agree NOT to:

a) violate any applicable law or regulation; b) harass, threaten, insult, defame, or discriminate against other Users; c) post or transmit Content that is illegal, hateful, violent, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate; d) impersonate another person or entity; e) use cheats, hacks, exploits, bots, mods, or any unauthorized third-party software intended to gain an unfair advantage on the Server; f) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other Users' Accounts, or our infrastructure; g) disrupt the proper functioning of the Services (DDoS, flooding, abusive use of resources, etc.); h) collect data about other Users without their consent; i) use the Services for commercial, advertising, or promotional purposes without our prior written consent; j) share, sell, or trade Accounts or in-game items outside the official channels we may provide.

A more detailed set of Server rules may be published on our Discord or on the Site and forms an integral part of these Terms.

7. User Content

You retain all rights to the Content you submit through the Services (such as suggestions). However, by submitting Content, you grant Silent Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and display said Content in connection with the operation, promotion, and improvement of the Services, for the duration of the legal protection of your rights.

You declare and warrant that you hold all necessary rights to the Content you submit and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to moderate, edit, or remove any Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Services (with the exception of User Content and elements belonging to third parties) are the exclusive property of Silent Studio. Any use, reproduction, or representation not expressly authorized by these Terms is prohibited.

Third-party intellectual property notice: Mineshoku Tensei is an independent fan project inspired by the Mushoku Tensei universe. We are not affiliated with the rights holders of Mushoku Tensei (Rifujin na Magonote, Kadokawa / Media Factory, Studio Bind, Egg Firm, White Fox). All trademarks and copyrights belong to their respective owners. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft, with which we are not affiliated.

9. Shop and Purchases (Future Feature)

A shop allowing the purchase of cosmetic items via Tebex is planned. When activated, specific terms and conditions of sale will apply and will be communicated to Users prior to any purchase. Purchases will be limited to cosmetic items in order to comply with Mojang's Commercial Usage Guidelines (EULA) for the Minecraft brand.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, in particular in the event of breach of these Terms, illegal behavior, or for technical or operational reasons.

You may stop using the Services at any time and request the deletion of your Account by contacting us at [email protected].

11. Availability of the Services

We make every reasonable effort to keep the Services accessible. However, we do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability. The Services may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, updates, or for any other reason beyond our control (host failure, force majeure, etc.).

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, except as required by mandatory applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silent Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, in-game progress, virtual items, opportunity, or profit, arising from the use of or inability to use the Services.

Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as excluding or limiting our liability in the event of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or in any other case where applicable law does not permit such limitation.

13. Modification of the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Substantial changes will be notified through the Site or by any other appropriate means. Continued use of the Services after the modifications enter into force constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, you are invited to contact us first at [email protected] in order to seek an amicable resolution.

You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Failing amicable resolution, any dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to the mandatory rules of jurisdiction applicable to consumers.
